Conte's side want to take advantage of Grzegorz Krychowiak's situation at Paris Saint-Germain. The Poland international has fallen down the pecking order under Unai Emery and, as revealed by the Daily Express, Chelsea are keen on securing his services.
The midfielder was a key figure for Emery's Sevilla side, but the same cannot be said about his role in the Parisian club, where Verratti, Rabiot or Motta are favoured over Krychowiak. Blaise Matuidi has already left the team in search of game time at Juventus.
The player's own personal situation, added to the fact that PSG have to offload footballers due to an overstocked squad, could ease the move, with the player bringing presence and experience to Conte's midfield.
