With neither goalkeeper convincing for Paris Saint-Germain, full back Thomas Meunier has stated that his Belgium teammate would be welcome at the French capital.
Following their summer spending spree, the Ligue 1 giants have one of the best squads in Europe at their disposal, but they seem to have identified a weak spot between the sticks.
Unconvincing performances from Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola have seen Thibaut Courtois emerge as a potential replacement and Meunier would be supportive of the move.
'He's very strong, Courtois. He wouldn't be bad at PSG', the Belgian defender told 'Le Parisien'.
'We've already got two good goalkeepers but Thibaut also has the profile, I think. He's very big, nearly two metres tall', he added.
Paris Saint-Germain have made a perfect start to the season winning all five Ligue 1 fixtures and their Champions League opener, but there is always room for improvement.
