Ibrahimovic has been sidelined since April due to a serious knee injury, but still signed a new deal with the Old Trafford club. Raiola believes the striker will return from his injury even stronger and that the 36-year-old has plenty left in the tank.
''He has so much in him,'' Raiola told 'Expressen'. "I think minimum another five or six years. I won’t let him stop, he has to work for me now. I have been working for him for several years. Now it’s my turn. My children are grown up and I need money.", the Italian agent joked.
''We have agreed that he is only working for me for five years now. So we’re flipping it now. The salary comes to me and he gets the commission.''
Raiola spoke about the well-documented surgery undergone by Ibrahimovic and performed by Dr Freddie Fu: "He says he has never seen such a strong and pure knee after such a long career as Zlatan has. Imagine all the bangs."
"This is a professor who takes care of athletes from all over the world and works with an American football team. He says he has never seen anything like it in 40 years. It’s the best knee he has ever seen.'', Raiola added.
When the time comes for Ibrahimovic to eventually hang up his boots, his agent does not believe he will coach: "F**k… God help the ones who get him as a coach! I want to see the player who says Zlatan does not know what he is talking about," Raiola concluded. "If there is a meeting, I want a hidden camera there!''
