Messi or Ronaldo? Bonucci chooses 'The Best'

Ther Italian defender, who was fortunate enough to feature in last season's Champions League final in Cardiff, did not hesitate when signalling out who should be the clear winner. At least, in 2016/17.

'I would have to say that the best player in the world at the moment is... Cristiano Ronaldo', he stated in a video posted by FIFA on Monday, the very same day the award is to be announced in the London Palladium.

'He can make the difference in any game. When we played in Cardiff in the Champions League final, he showed that he is determined to keep getting better and stay at the top', the former Juventus star concluded.
