Pele did not hesitate when choosing between Messi and Ronaldo: 'There's no doubt'

Speaking to 'Dugout', one of the all-time best footballers (for many the best) revealed that for him there is no comparing Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Only one clear winner for the Brazil legend.

Despite lavishing praise on Cristiano Ronaldo, the iconic Brazilian had no doubts when referring to Messi as the best player in the last 15 years.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is excellent, but he’s a scorer… a forward. But Messi, he scores goals… He’s more organized. I can say both of them are fantastic, but you cannot compare their style."

To conclude his analysis, Pele picked his favourite player in recent times: "To me in the last 15 years, there’s no doubt.. no doubt that Messi is the best player."
