Wenger has insisted that the Chilean international will remain at Arsenal this summer and that the situation between Costa and Antonio Conte is completely different to that of wantaway striker Sanchez.
‘This is a special situation [with Costa] when you look from the outside – it’s a different situation', Wenger said.
The Frenchman is optimistic about Sanchez staying in North London, despite the fact that the 28-year-old is entering the final year of his contract.
'Of course [Sanchez] is going to stay. I have enough problems not to make an assessment on Chelsea’s problems', the Gunners boss added.
The Chilean striker, who is currently injured, watched Arsenal's victory against Leicester on Friday from the stands. Could that be an indication that he will stay at the Emirates?
