Dembele has been sidelined since September 16 after he was stretchered off in the La Liga game against Getafe, but he continued his march towards first team action once again as he joined in with first team training on Thursday.
The Frenchman's return to group training has prompted optimism that he may be available earlier than previously expected, though Barca's medical staff are still thinking of a January return at the absolute earliest for the former Borussia Dortmund man.
The injury has prevented Dembele from living up to his transfer fee after his €105m summer move, but Barca fans could see the youngster in action once again following the winter break.
Rafinha also completed the full session, whilst Andres Iniesta and Javier Mascherano are thought to be pushing to be fit for the visit of Deportivo La Coruña on Sunday.
The only sour note for the Catalans was the absence of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen from the session, with the German training indoors on his own.
