Alex Iwobi wants to become a regular first-team player at Arsenal, as the Nigerian player thinks that his time has come. "I didn't play as much as I'd like to last year. I want to start the season with a bang", he said.
Last season, Iwobi didn't play on regular basis, as the winger flitted in and out on Wenger's side. '"I need to be a bit more hungry this year, add more goals and assists. At the start of last season I played a lot. I want to do that all year. Consistency is the key with me", he added
Iwobi decided to play for Nigeria, as he represented England at several age groups. "Originally I'm from Nigeria. I always felt comfortable there. It was a hard decision because I'd played for England but I felt more at home there and I'm treated like a king", Iwobi said.
As Arsenal got the new season underway, the winger privided an assist for Lacazette's first goal in the Gunners dress.
