Mido close to PSG coaching role

Still only 34, Mido has extensive coaching experience in his native Egypt, even having a brief stint as a technical director. He began coaching at Zamalek before becoming the director of youth football at Belgian club, Lierse. 

He was courted by PSG almost four years ago for a similar role but he turned them down. Now it looks as if they will finally get their man.

Speaking to 'KingFut', he said: "There are negotiations going on, it might happen very soon."

Mido played in England for Spurs, Middlesbrough, Wigan, West Ham and Barnsley.
