Paris Saint-Germain took a real hit in the Bernabeu at the hands of an efficient Real Madrid side. 'Los Blancos' pulled off a thrilling comeback, grabbing two quick-fire goals to beat the French side 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Now, PSG have the return fixture on their mind, hoping to pull of their own comeback against the current champions of Europe. However, they'll need their front three to be in sync.
During Wednesday's tie, the trio struggled. The most vibrant of them was Neymar, who tried to pull the strings, but was unsuccesful without the support of his teammates.
After the game, a worrying statistic surfaced about the trio's involvement. Neymar linked up with Mbappé on eight occasions, whilst Cavani was left out of the action, failing to link-up with his co-strikers at all in the game.
It appears the Brazilian and the Frenchman sought each other out whilst passing up chances to feed Cavani. The result? Well, none of them scored.
