Ousmane Dembele scored his first goal since a £96million switch to Barcelona last summer, and the Frenchman insists he is a "Ferrari under construction."
After making his most valuable contribution in Wednesday's 3-0 win over Chelsea, Dembele insisted the club provided maximum support during his injury layoff and now intends on becoming a key asset to Ernesto Valverde.
"The whole club supported me, the players were very cool with me," Dembele said in an interview with 'Onze Mundial'. "The staff members too. They came to say to me: 'Go quiet, you rest well, quiet'."
"I hope to become a great player. Today, I consider myself a good player. I'm young, I still have a lot to learn. We will say that I am a Ferrari under construction," he added. "Losing the ball. I try all the time to erase that."
"Here it's perfect to progress on that point. We are at Barca, there is little loss of the ball. We will try to erase that as quickly as possible."
