Real Madrid's options to replace Bale

Gareth Bale has suffered another injury setback at Real Madrid and the 'Blancos' are beginning to second-guess their decision to retain the Welshman in the summer. While Mourinho remains interested in bringing him to Manchester United, Zidane is already scouring the market in search of an apt substitute.

That is what Spanish daily 'As' revealed. Bale's time in the Spanish capital is coming to an inevitable end and Zidane is looking to rebuild Real's attaking force to strike fear into defenders' hearts across Europe.

The candidates are young, talented and, above all, highly valued. Real Madrid will use every last penny they get for Bale to make a blockbuster signing next summer.

Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

The Belgian recently revealed his 'dream to play for Zidane' and, while his contract at Stamford Bridge runs until 2020, he is constantly linked with a move to Madrid.

Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Spurs set their asking price for the in-form striker: €200 million, a price Madrid are willing to pay for the 24-year-old, who will need some convincing to leave north London.

Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)

The Polish centre-forward has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent seasons and Bayern's lack of form could see him fulfil his dream of playing for the European champions.

Dele Alli (Tottenham)

Florentino Perez knows Daniel Levy is a tough negotiator after the signings of Modric and Bale, and Alli will not be any different. The England international, who scored twice against Zidane's team at Wembley, is yet to renew his Spurs contract.

Neymar Jr (PSG)

The Brazilian is reportedly unhappy in Paris and a return to La Liga is on the cards. He is among the best and would fit straight into Zidane's system.

Nabil Fekir (Lyon)

12 goals and three assists in 15 matches for the Ligue 1 side have attracted attention from the Spanish giants. The player himself even said he could never turn down an offer from Zidane.

Kylian Mbappe (PSG)

Madrid tried to sign the teenage sensation last summer, but PSG swooped in. Bale's constant injury struggles could convince Real's hierarchy to make a serious bid to lure the striker.
