Real Madrid, after signing Vinicius, have gone back to Brazil with an eye to the future. This time, it's Rodrigo Antonio Rodrigues, known in the football world as Rodrigo and playing for Gremio Novorizontino.
The 17 year old attacking midfielder is already considered to be one of the most lucrative assets in Brazil's pool of young players. Acccording to Marca, Rodrigo has already passed a medical and visited Valdebebas, with his signature to come in the following hours.
As was the case with Vinicius, Rodrigo will not come to Madrid until next season, once he is old enough to sign. To start with, he will boost the Castilla ranks.
Despite his talent, Rodrigo was not part of Brazil's squad for the Under-17s World Cup, where Vinicius was included. His absence was surprising news in Brazil, but wasn't enough to deflect Madrid's interest in him.
