The arrival of Alexis Sanchez is imminent and, while he will provide Jose Mourinho with flare and quality up front, he may also upset the balance of power at Old Trafford.
The Chilean is set to earn a basic salary of almost £100million over the next four-and-a-half years, dwarfing Paul Pogba's current weekly salary of £200,000.
The Frenchman, currently the highest earner on Mourinho's squad, has three years left on the contract he signed in 2016 when he returned from Juventus for a then-world record £89m, which could mean United handing him a new mega deal.
As reported by 'Mirror', Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is ready to tell the club that his current contract is no longer the going rate for a player of his standing and will demand that his wages are doubled to match the £400,000-a-week Sanchez will earn for moving to Old Trafford.
